Just putting it out there…

On Masterchef, someone made a caramel beetroot sauce and lime coriander ice cream.

I don’t know what’s wrong with plain caramel sauce.

And if someone does not like plain caramel sauce, I really don’t think that adding beetroot to it will make it any tastier.

And I also don’t think that adding coriander to ice-cream is necessary. No one ever had a craving for a coriander sundae. And i can tell you right now, if i was ever at home sobbing away over a broken heart and my bestie rocked up with  a tub of coriander ice-cream, I would cry harder. Seriously. Salt to the wound.

Put the coriander in a stir fry. Put the beetroot in a dip.

It’s the simple things that make us happy. Stop being fancy, so we can keep it that way.
